A leading manufacturer of building materials and Ready-Mix concrete is looking for a talented and experienced professional, who has the aspiration to advance own career and be part of a reputable organization, to fill the position of Plant Incharge within its Ready-Mix business division.

Role Purpose:
Responsible for day-to-day supervision and coordination of the Plant's operation and maintenance, with the prime responsibility and accountability for plant production goals and targets.

Key Responsibilities:
• • Direct and coordinate plant operations in accordance within company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe plant.
• Ensure that sales and production targets are met.
• Establish and maintain a positive work environment that fosters performance excellence.
• Foster a well-trained and motivated staff.
• Confer with department heads to ensure coordination of purchasing, production, and shipping, maintenance and Quality.
• Responsible for establishing all shift production schedules.
• Manage and develop the supervisory and administrative staff with the plant.
• Conduct employee performance reviews and provide feedback with regards to improvements.
• Schedule and conduct plant performance review meetings.
• Ensure effective quality management systems are deployed
• Partake in scheduled corporate training and meetings
• Partake in the formulation of company’s business strategy and plan of action for the plant operation.
• Other duties as assigned.

Key Accountabilities:
• • Revenue Actual Vs Targets and contribution margin
• Development and progression of Staff within the plant
• Availability and utilization of Equipment
• Compliance with company’s HR, Financial, H&S and Environmental Policies and procedures
• Employees’ utilization within the plant
• FTE and other employee related costs within areas of responsibility
• Accuracy and timely delivery of management reports related to Plants performance
reports.

Experience Required:
Minimum of 12 yrs of relevant work experience, with 8 yrs of management experience gained within the Ready-Mix industry preferably within the GCC.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Strong analytical and diagnostic skills
• Effective team guidance and leadership skills using: observation, listening and problem solving skills
• Frontline communication and interpersonal skills orally and in writing
• Ability to multitask vast workloads confidently working towards deadlines with minimum supervision
• Time management and self development skills
• Self starter retaining a good standard level of accuracy implementing new strategies and managing change within an organization
