Job Description : Drive the enhancement of the groupís risk management framework through the implementation of leading risk management practices and standards to support the achievement of the groupís business objectives and compliance with applicable law and regulations. 1. Lead the risk review process by identifying, documenting, evaluating, monitoring and reporting key risk exposures 2. Cooperate with the relevant stakeholders across all groupís operations to implement appropriate internal controls 3. Maintain an up to date risk register and produce regular risk reports to ensure key stakeholders are informed of any material risk exposures 4. Lead the enhancement of the groupís business continuity framework by ensuring that appropriate processes and controls are in place, tested and documented across all material operations 5. Assist in the development and implementation of the groupís risk appetite, strategy and policies 6. Ensure that relevant risk documentation is up to date and meets internal and external compliance requirements 7. Promote an effective risk culture and prudent business practices across the organization

Skills : Core Competencies:  Understanding of risk management within the insurance and financial services industry  Knowledge of leading risk management practices and standards (ISO, COSO, etc)  Strong personality with integrity and excellent negotiating skills  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills  Knowledge of the local business, insurance and financial services regulation and law  Ability and willingness to learn and adapt in an evolving business environment  Strong report writing and presentation skills  Self-motivated individual with the ability to multi task, work alone or with groups  Fluent in spoken and written English, knowledge of Arabic is a plus  Professional qualification from a recognized risk management body is preferable Experience:  5-10 yearsí relevant experience in an insurance or financial services company organization or consultancy Education: Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance or other relevant subject
